Expertise and quality of model making at the service of a passion
Scalextric Ford GT40 - BOAC 500 1968 - Drury / Holland
Reference : C4495
Description
Terry Drury and Keith Holland were among the last British privateers to race the GT40 after it had fallen out of contention as a front-runner in the Sports Car scene. The duo impressively qualified 22nd for the BOAC 1000KM at the iconic Brands Hatch circuit. In the race, they performed admirably, completing 91 laps of the sweeping GP loop before being forced to retire due to low oil pressure.
Their GT40 was a true standout of the era, with its striking gold-and-black livery and immaculate presentation. Now, this stunning piece of motorsport history has been faithfully recreated by Scalextric, making it the perfect addition to your collection of 1960s Sports Racing Cars!
